How to Sun Protect?

Summer began; we will recall the principles of protection from the sun

  • Keep away from the midday sun. Try to stay in the shade between 10 am And 4 pm when the sun’s rays are more likely to cause you burn.
  • White surfaces (sand, concrete) can also reflect UV rays. Wear sunglasses when you are exposed to the sun.
  • Even when cloudy you have to apply sunscreen to your skin it’s a myth to believe we cannot get sunburn on a cloudy day.
  • What does broadband sunscreen mean? It means that sunscreen will block both UVA (ultraviolet A) sun rays and UVB (ultraviolet B) rays. It is best for skin protection.

How often does sunscreen apply?

  • The application of sunscreen should be done every two hours, and immediately after swimming. Choose a waterproof sunscreen.
  • Sunscreen should be applied to all areas of the skin exposed to the sun, especially in the hands, feet, ears, nose and face.

Sunscreen should be applied at least 15 minutes before going out. It takes time to start acting. Some doctors say you have to wait 30 minutes.

Sunscreen has been designed to protect you from the sun’s damaging effects on your skin, and there is no reason to stay in the sun for a longer period of time.
